Utah Proposal Photographer
I’m Jade, a Utah proposal photographer who plans and secretly captures surprise proposals across the state, so all you have to do is say the words
plan your proposal today
you want her to love your surprise proposal, but you’re nervous
You cherish your connection with your partner. Your perfect proposal isn’t about getting it perfect, it’s about showing them that you love them and understand them. That’s why a proposal in Utah is what you’re looking for!
You want a proposal surrounded by the nature of Utah’s National Parks or somewhere meaningful to you.
You’re picturing your proposal in Utah to be beautiful and joyful, but instead, you’re feeling stressed about logistics and finding a location
You don’t want to just pull out a ring and pop the question. You want to create an intimate memory you will both always remember.
That’s where I come in.
I believe your proposal should be more than just a question, it should be a new memory together
Let’s ditch the impersonal proposals and create a thoughtful surprise proposal
How much does a proposal photographer cost in Utah?
Packages start at $845 for a proposal within about an hour of the Wasatch Front. Push the location out to Moab, Zion, or St. George, add a bigger celebration afterward, or build in an experience like a hot air balloon ride, and the number moves, since remote adventure spots take more scouting time and hiking-in gear than a quick trip to a city overlook, not just a longer drive. We work out your exact quote on the planning call before you book anything, so you’re never guessing. The price you’re quoted is the price you pay: I don’t add sales tax on top of it.
How do I hire a secret proposal photographer in Utah?
Look for a photographer who scouts the location ahead of time and shoots from a distance so your partner never clocks what’s happening: that’s my whole specialty. I plan the logistics, blend in like just another hiker or tourist, and stay out of sight until you’re already down on one knee.
you want her more in love with you than ever before. You want a surprise proposal that’s thoughtful, without the stress of planning. That’s where I come in! As your Utah Proposal photographer, I’m here to plan, prepare and document.

Where I Photograph Proposals in Utah
Utah is stupid beautiful. Red rock, alpine lakes, salt flats that look like another planet: you’re not short on options. Here’s where I love photographing proposals, and who each spot is for. Not sure which fits you two? That’s what the planning call is for.
Every one of these locations comes with its own trail conditions, its own way the light shifts through a canyon over the course of a day, and its own permit rules, and I’ve hiked, scouted, and photographed proposals at each one enough times to know the difference before you ever show up.
Flying in? This is your easy button. Mountain backdrops, city overlooks, and golden-hour canyons all within 20 minutes of the airport. Perfect if you don’t want to burn half your trip driving.
Park City & Deer Valley
Ski-town charm with a little luxury baked in. Aspens go gold in the fall and the whole place turns into a postcard. Great for couples who want something elevated (pun fully intended).
Antelope Island
My quiet favorite. That long causeway, bison in the distance, and the sun melting into the Great Salt Lake, with almost nobody around to ruin the surprise. If you want dreamy and private, this is it.
Towering canyon walls that make you feel very small in the best way. This one’s for the adventurous couple who hikes on every trip and wants their proposal to match that energy.
Red rock, sandstone, and light that hits like nothing else at sunset. Delicate Arch and the Moab desert feel otherworldly: some of the most dramatic proposal photos you can get in Utah.
Southern Utah's red rock without the long drive to Moab: warmer weather, dramatic sandstone, and easy access if you're flying into St. George or coming up from Las Vegas.
Thousands of orange and pink hoodoos packed into a natural amphitheater: there's nowhere else in Utah that looks quite like it. Quieter than Zion or Arches, which makes it a favorite for couples who want their proposal to feel private as well as dramatic.
2,000 feet above the Colorado River at Dead Horse Point, with canyon country spreading out in every direction. Fewer crowds than the national park proper, and one of the most jaw-dropping views you can put behind a ring.
One of Utah's quietest national parks, with dramatic canyon walls and some of the darkest skies in the state, for couples who'd rather propose without a crowd of strangers nearby.
Provo Canyon & Sundance
Waterfalls, mountain canyons, and cozy fall color close to Utah County. Ideal if you’re proposing somewhere that already means something to the two of you.
Great Saltair & the Salt Flats
Want surreal? White ground stretching out forever, mirror reflections after it rains, a horizon that looks like the moon. It’s unexpected, it’s unforgettable, and it photographs like a fever dream.
Every one of these works for a secret proposal: I scout the spot, plan the timing, and handle the logistics so all you have to do is show up and mean it. Want the full list tailored to your trip? Let’s talk.
