You want to propose in Utah. Now what?

You’ve got the ring. You’ve got the person. What you don’t have is a plan for pulling off the moment without giving it away, or a location that fits the two of you, not whatever's trending on Pinterest this month.

You want the moment to be about them, not about whether you got the logistics right

“I’ve never done this before”

you want your partner to love your surprise proposal, but you’re nervous

You cherish your connection with your partner. Your perfect proposal isn’t about getting every detail flawless. It’s about showing your partner you see them, specifically, not performing a generic milestone.

You want it surrounded by Utah’s red rock, alpine lakes, or wherever already means something to the two of you.

You’re picturing something beautiful and joyful. Instead you’re stressed about logistics: finding the spot, keeping it secret, timing the light just right.

You don’t want to just pull out a ring and pop the question. You want a moment you both replay for the rest of your lives.

That’s where I come in.

Your proposal should be more than a question. It should be a memory you built together

Let’s skip the impersonal, cookie-cutter proposal and build one that’s about you two, not everyone else’s engagement post.

I believe a proposal should be more than a rehearsed question and a quick photo. It should be a moment planned around how you two work: the backdrop, the timing, the whole shape of the day.

Client Review

“Jade helped my fiancé plan and photograph the PERFECT proposal! She took the stress off of him and captured the moment beautifully. I didn’t even see her behind the trees until she popped out at the end for a little engagement session. She returned the photos and video within 12 hours! Her editing style was absolutely gorgeous and she was the sweetest to work with. I can’t thank her enough for the results and planning!”

You’re here because you want more than just a “yes.” You want a proposal story you’ll tell for the rest of your lives.

That’s where I come in: I plan the location, the timing, and the hiding spot, then disappear into the background so all you have to do is get down on one knee.

Hi I’m Jade, your Utah Proposal Photographer

I’m with you every step of the way, starting with picking your location and not stopping until the photos are in your inbox. I have a background in concert photography, so I’m built for capturing candid movement, and I’ve been told I catch the “in between moments” well.

Work with me and you’re not just getting staged, Pinterest-worthy poses. You’re getting the candid reaction shots and happy-tear moments you’ll want to look at years from now. I’m an avid hiker and rock climber, and I put serious time into scouting locations you’ll love seeing behind you in every photo.

Step 1

You Reach Out

The inquiry form just needs a general sense of where and when you’re thinking, plus a feel for your vision. No need for exact specifics yet.

Step 2

A Quick Call

Once I’ve got your number, I’ll text to find a good time, then call, usually the same day or the next, for about 20 minutes to hear what you’re picturing and get to know you both.

Step 3

Contract and Retainer

Right after the call, I send over a contract, a 30% retainer, and a short questionnaire about you two so nothing gets mixed up or forgotten. I don’t contact your partner beforehand; their email is only used later to deliver photos.

Step 4

Welcome Email

Once that’s signed, you get a welcome email laying out what happens next and when you’ll hear from me.

Step 5

Location Options

Within a day or two, I send over 5 to 10 options: map links, plus my own photos or video if I’ve shot there before. You pick your top 1 to 2.

Step 6

Personal Scouting

I physically go to your top choice and send you current photos and video so you know what to expect, plus my take on timing, like proposing earlier in a canyon for better light.

Step 7

Final Details

Plans stay flexible until the week before. Then I confirm the time and place and have you share your location with me that day so I can track how close you’re getting.

Step 8

The Day Of

I’m in place 30 minutes early. I’d rather you run a little late than early: rushing looks more suspicious than a late arrival. I stay out of sight until you’ve had your moment, then get photos of the two of you and the ring, followed by a 20-minute engagement mini shoot before I leave you to enjoy it.

Step 9

24-Hour Delivery

Photos and video land in both your inboxes within 24 hours, usually the same day or the day after.
